8h30, Cape Town stadium. We wore the white color run T-shirt and almost the tattoo which were complicated to put on. Like thousands of people, we were ready to start the race. I had been touched by paint 5 minutes after coming the crown, so the tone was set.
We waited for 30 minutes, fortunately I didn’t see it because of the music. And after let was go the race. Running is usually boring for me but at that moment it was so funny. I was running with my friends from when we arrived and took the first step. Green, green, green everywhere! People laughed and fought with the paint. I went to the next part cover of the pounder paint.
The group dispersed and became smaller and I continued with Camille. Both of us were exhausted but we wouldn`t stop running. Sceneries were so motivating, we were just next to the sea! More than that we were lucky to have this amazing experience, landscapes were staggering.
Next were the red stands, the blue, and the orange and others after! At the end, all of us were unrecognizable, with paint everywhere. And the day wasn`t finished yet.
We didn`t know before but it was a little festival which was there waiting for us. With music, food… and paint of course ! It was absolutely wonderful with all those people who I loved.
We went back by taxi after, completely kaput, but not home…. To the beach! It was a beautiful day which deserved to be esteemed.
To sum it up, it was an amazing experience, lovely friends, and beautiful weather all which made it a perfect day!!!
