Have you ever seen this strange animal?

If you are not in South Africa, probably not because this one only lives in some part of Africa such as Sub-Saharan and Middle East and is called “Rock Hyrax”. It is known as Dassie in South Africa and Table Mountain is one of its living place. That’s where I saw one last time on the top! But I also saw several of them in Hermanus.

You will never believe me but this animal is the closest living relative to the African elephant! That’s so incredible! Moreover it generally lives in group and in case of danger the sentries give an alarm call.
