The Bierfest by David

It was 14th of November and the German OKTOBERFEST came here to Cape Town. When the EF students arrived there, there were a few people, so the first thing we did was to find our table; once we were sitting a beautiful woman took our orders for our first beers. I could choose between glasses of 500ml or 1l so I had the first problem and the second problem was the kind of beer, there were eight kinds of beer. Eventually I chose the beer with the highest alcohol content but the beer was 500ml because I wasn’t sure if I would like it. My instinct was right, I didn’t like it. So I changed the next beer.
The third problem that night was the food, in theory the food was included with the tickets so we asked Brad what time the food was served? He told us the food was served at 7.30 pm but friends, this is South Africa. We had been waiting until 8.30 pm so when the food finally arrived we looked like lions with our prey. Of course the beer didn’t stop. To finish there was a concert at the festival. I didn’t remember a lot of the concert because of beer.
But if I can say one thing, the bierfest was incredibly amazing.
