My last Class by Tanya

I am a teacher here at EF as you might have seen in my brief bio. Last cycle I had the pleasure of teaching this incredible bunch of humans in the above picture. It is a class that is as diverse as chalk and cheese. The individuals range from being opera lovers to wine experts to festival loving party animals to focused and well read poets to environmental engineers. The group was the last group I had the honour of spending 5 days a week with and I learnt so much from the time I shared with them. I learnt that even though disparity exists, it is in finding the commonalities that we can unite. I learnt that despite differences in age each of us is a child and each of us can be a grumpy old man. I learnt that despite religious differences when it comes down to it what really matters is the purity of your heart and your willingness to be open-minded and accepting of difference. This group was the perfect balance of playing hard and working hard and I will always hold each and everyone of the the students dear in my heart.
