Penguins in Africa? Yes, it’s true and amazing, Cape Town has it all, this is one obligatory stop in your travel. Simon’s Town is 1 hour from Cape Town; you can go by car, taxi or train. My recommendation is that you must go by train because the train goes along the coast, the views are incredible and this option is too cheaper. When you arrive in Simon’s Town the little suburb is very friendly you have the opportunity of eat in one of the many restaurants with ocean view, the penguin’s colony is 20 minutes from the train station by foot, in this colony you can see the penguins in their natural habitat, hundreds of penguins go and come back every day to the beach and you can see babies and complete families of penguins relax on the beach.

I really recommend this trip because it’s cheap, beautiful and you are going to discover another extraordinary place in Cape Town with unbelievable landscapes.
