Camps Bay by Gwenole

A perfect place between the mountains and the sea, Camps Bay is a beautiful beach of Cape Town. May be the richest area of Cape Town, you can find around this beach lot of villas of famous people, bars and restaurant just in front of the sea with always this enormous Lion’s Head which nearly makes you shadow as much it’s big… (Of course it’s a joke, there is no shadow on the beach, you have to survive under a phenomenal strong sun which beat your head all the day). If you stay until the end of the day, you can contemplate an impressive red sunset which you will remember your entire life. But, between all these fantastic things, there is the perfidious sea. With her deep blue color and her huge waves, you just want to jump inside and stay forever. But what you do not know is that it is may be the coldest sea of the world so, absolutely do not jump into the waves; you could die in the first second. On the other side, there is a great thing to do, you can spend your day on the sand, playing or chilling (don’t forget to bring water or money cause there are vendors who sell it on the beach0 and every 30 min, go in the water for a few minutes when you are very hot, do not stay too long just the time to get all your body in the water and get out, it is really awesome !
